SWAP is an international designer’s temporary exchange program between experienced design studios all around the world.

Through a digital platform, this non-profitable initiative will allow studios’ designers the opportunity to experience a professional and cultural exchange in a foreign design studio for a short period of time in which they will develop their regular job in a new country and environment.

The main project goal is to encourage personal and professional enrichment for designers and studios, as well as to benefit both labor experience.

Venturing Beyond is the third exhibition organised by A(by)P in collaboration with Somerset House. The exhibition is part of Somerset House's UTOPIA 2016 and explored unsanctioned public art - graffiti - as an intrinsically utopian practice.

Venturing Beyond showcased the specially-commissioned work of seventeen street artists from around the globe, featuring stars of the scene Shepard Fairey, Swoon and Revok, to critically acclaimed artists such as Eltono and Filippo Minelli.

United Notions is a collaborative exhibition of 20 design studios from around the world who have worked on each other's briefs exploring unique phenomenas intrinsic to their cultures.

I had the pleasure to design one of the posters when I was working at Savvy Studio, reinterpreting the brief given by the dutch studio Mainstudio:

Hokjes & Hokjesdenken.
Dutch people tend to label, to order or to create categorizations. They think in terms of systems and grids in order to make things less complex. Driving through cities and countryside you can notice structures, clusters, patterns of the fields, road and houses. “Hokjes” literally means cube, square, categories, cage. Dutch dictionaries put it as ”Having a (over)simplified view of the world”.

Collaborative project for french designer Julien Braun final master project. I had to collaborate with chinese designer Li Yiwei to develop an idea to create an artwork that represents the conceptual brief it was given to us.

Long and short:

Distance is the amount of space between two people or things. It is a numerical description of how far apart objects are. Can we go beyond these distances? What is the distance to our era? How can we represent it, exaggerate it, decrease it at a time when the digital surpasses the gaps?

Futurismo Ancestral was an exhibition created and curated by the spanish artist Sixe Paredes that took place at Somerset House in London. It was developed and produced by A(by)P, a London based collaborative organisation that curates, produces and instigates art.

The series of artworks includes large-scale tapestries, ceramics, quipus and sculptures, and offers a modern take on Peruvian visual culture and craftsmanship.

I had the chance to develop the editorial design for the catalogue's exhibition during my period as graphic designer at Savvy Studio.
